Overview

Join Kroll as an Analyst in Transaction Advisory Services to support analytical advisory throughout the deal continuum. You will work with cross-functional teams to assess target companies, research accounting topics, and contribute to reporting that informs deal decisions. Responsibilities
  • Prepare analytical schedules for management discussions with target companies
  • Identify transaction focus areas from preliminary analysis
  • Research technical accounting topics for contemplated transactions
  • Research public industry and competitor information relevant to the target
  • Analyze cyclicality and working capital trends of the target
  • Investigate contingent liabilities, off-balance sheet items, and related party transactions
  • Analyze quality of earnings and non-recurring items
  • Review target company's accounting policies for GAAP application
  • Participate in discussions with Management
  • Contribute to the report-writing process
Key requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science/Business Administration in Accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year related accounting or finance work experience
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA eligible
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and integrity
  • Ability to master new tasks quickly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a team
  • Commitment to outstanding results
