Overview In this role you will help scale TikTok's Content & Creator commerce in the US by managing merchant operations, market analysis, and data-driven optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard high-quality merchants, drive category growth, and improve traffic, conversion, and sales. You will leverage market insights and data to shape pricing, product development, and marketing approaches, delivering measurable growth for assigned categories. This is an entrepreneurial, impact-focused position with a clear tie to expanding TikTok's commerce ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Oversee merchant operations across categories, onboarding and guiding merchants to rapid launch and growth; manage product selection, listings, information optimization, and inventory control to boost performance.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify opportunities; support product development, pricing, and marketing strategies; lead category-specific business development plans.
- Analyze product, merchant, and sales data to identify issues and optimize strategies; drive category planning and execution for assigned lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely supply and build solutions for category development; coordinate issue resolution in operations.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in category investment promotion or operations
- Strong learning ability, execution, self-motivation, and team collaboration
- Familiar with industrial clusters, product pricing and brands in relevant categories, with merchant resources
- Strong data analysis capabilities to study industry trends and manage project execution
