Overview In this role, you lead nonprofit audit engagements, guiding planning, staffing, and execution to deliver value for clients and communities. Responsibilities- Plan, supervise, and control all phases of nonprofit audit engagements as delegated by Principals
- Lead engagement planning, staffing, and execution to optimize efficiency and client value
- Drive decision-making for engagements and keep the Engagement Principal informed of progress
- Develop and mentor staff, assist in recruiting, assign planning, and oversee performance development
- Prepare and discuss engagement letters with clients; estimate fees and obtain signatures
- Evaluate internal controls and audit programs, propose revisions and obtain approval
- Monitor budgets and deadlines, communicate developments, provide client management updates and final meetings
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 6 years in a large professional services or public accounting firm
- CPA license certification
- Leadership capability to guide a high-performing team
- Strong problem-solving and client-facing skills
