Overview In this Estimator role, you will lead preconstruction pricing for restaurant construction projects within a well-established commercial GC. You'll collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and leadership to develop competitive budgets and accurate bids, shaping project scope and vendor relationships. The position focuses on take-offs, bid proposals, and evaluating subcontractor pricing to drive winning bids. You'll work in a growth-minded team that values clear communication and disciplined bidding processes. Responsibilities- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs
- Complete bid proposals
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing across all trades
- Develop conceptual budgets and hard bid estimates
- Participate in scope reviews and subcontractor negotiations
- Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships during bidding process
Key requirements- 5+ years estimating experience in GC commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of all major trade divisions
- Experience pricing restaurant projects preferred
- Solid understanding of construction means and methods
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
