Overview In this role, you apply ion exchange resin technology to tackle processing and purification challenges, supporting manufacturing with new polymer-based solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to generate data, guide decisions, and advance sustainable water technologies. Responsibilities- Synthesize, functionalize, and evaluate polymer materials for new products and processes
- Apply ion exchange resin tech to address processing, separation, and purification challenges
- Perform laboratory testing and characterization of polymers and aqueous systems to generate data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers to meet project goals
- Analyze results and communicate findings and recommendations to technical teams and management
- Manage laboratory operations, including ownership of process and analytical equipment, procedures, and documentation
- Champion a strong safety culture by adhering to lab safety standards and promoting safe practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in an industrial laboratory environment (including internships/co-ops)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
