Overview In this role you drive revenue by selling Simon Centers as a marketing medium to brands, agencies, and local businesses. You act as the local market media expert for DOOH/OOH and experiential opportunities, building relationships with key decision makers and translating client goals into actionable media plans. You will manage a portfolio across properties, aiming to meet revenue targets while coordinating with property, corporate, and regional teams. This position combines strategy, client solutions, and strong execution to grow Simon's media and events business.
Responsibilities- Identify and close revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of media assets, sponsorships, center programming, and amenities
- Meet or exceed personal and property revenue goals on a monthly basis
- Develop compelling client solutions for advertising objectives and close large multi-property programs
- Target and cultivate relationships with companies in key categories within the assigned market
- Ensure flawless execution of programs and campaigns
- Provide monthly forecasts for assigned properties
- Execute leases and manage client receivables
- Maintain daily communication with local property, corporate, and regional leadership
- Advocate for the properties, clients, and Simon's opportunities
Key requirements- At least 2 years of media sales experience with Simon or 4+ years broadly in media sales, OOH, sponsorships, events
- Compelling sales presentation skills including formal presentations and cold calling; strong writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce)
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Sales forecasting and budgeting is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Some overnight travel required
