Overview As a Senior Financial Analyst in Technical Infrastructure, you drive spend optimization and provide actionable insights to executives. You partner with TI, Product Areas, and corporate finance to improve reporting and decision-making. You lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor peers, and shape forward-looking analyses to support large-scale infrastructure initiatives. This role blends data-driven finance with strategic influence to improve efficiency and financial outcomes across Google's infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Partner with TI and Product Area teams to develop explainable allocation frameworks
- Direct monthly finance reviews and translate trends into executive-ready insights
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance TI spend reporting and support key initiatives
- Develop and analyze complex infrastructure spend to support strategic initiatives
- Mentor team members and act as trusted advisor within the TI FP&A group
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field
- 7 years of FP&A/related experience, or 5 years with advanced degree
- Strong communication and influence skills across levels
- Ability to self-initiate in ambiguous environments
- Strong problem-solving and financial modeling skills, including SQL and managing complex datasets
