Overview In this contract-to-hire role, you will handle a broad range of family law matters from inception to resolution, with direct client interaction in a well-established San Francisco firm. You will draft and file documents, perform legal research, and represent clients in court, hearings, and mediations. Responsibilities- Manage family law matters from inception through resolution, including dissolution, custody, support, and related issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and settlement agreements
- Conduct case analysis, legal research, and factual investigations
- Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Maintain organized case files and manage multiple deadlines
