Overview In this role you lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget adherence. You collaborate with subcontractors, owners, and design professionals to deliver TI and ground-up work across retail, office, and corporate environments. You'll drive site operations, coordinate logistics, and mentor field staff while ensuring client expectations are met. This role offers hands-on impact on project safety and on-time turnover within a dynamic, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities- Direct and manage on-site construction activities ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors, enforcing contract scope and quality standards
- Establish and monitor site safety programs per OSHA and company policies
- Review plans, specs, and RFIs; coordinate with PM and estimating teams to resolve issues
- Produce progress updates, daily logs, manpower reports for leadership and owners
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and logistics to optimize workflow
- Perform quality inspections and punch-list management; ensure turnover meets contracts
- Mentor field staff including assistant superintendents and foremen, fostering collaboration
- Manage field change orders with timely communication to project management
- Engage with clients, architects, engineers, and officials during inspections and permitting
Key requirements- 5+ years of field supervision as Superintendent on commercial projects including TI and ground-up
- Experience in retail, office, and corporate construction environments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control
- Ability to read/interpret architectural and MEP drawings and contract documents
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills coordinating stakeholders
- Proficiency with project management and field reporting tools (Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project or similar)
