Overview In this role you will manage the day-to-day technical design of Telecommunications, Security, and A/V systems for construction documents. You will collaborate with the Buildings US West team to deliver integrated technology design across projects. The position emphasizes coordination, BIM modeling, and site work on high-tech facilities, with opportunities to influence design approaches and meet client needs. You join a cross-functional, sustainability-minded practice focused on innovative building design and technology integration.

Responsibilities- Coordinate schematic design and construction documents focusing on Telecom, Security, and A/V requirements
- Develop expertise in design software, especially Revit and BIM modeling
- Conduct site condition surveys
- Review contract submittals
- Support multiple design teams to deliver results within deadlines
- Produce quality, innovative building designs using technology and methodologies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Be willing to work on client sites and meet badging/background requirements
Key requirements- BICSI, RCDD, Avixa CTS or CTS-D, ASIS PSP certifications
- Fundamental understanding of ISP and OSP telecommunication design
- Strong experience in design coordination and contract document development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-office technology systems group
- Experience designing and implementing industrial communication networks (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus)
- Associate degree or equivalent; 5 years' experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Technology Systems design for mission-critical facilities
