Overview In this Senior Counsel role, you will provide legal support for the HIV Prevention portfolio and related assets, working closely with Commercial, Medical, Public Affairs, and Regulatory teams. You help ensure compliant promotion, education, and external engagements while training colleagues and external consultants. You will collaborate cross-functionally across geographies in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. This position offers opportunities to influence US commercialization strategies and advance the company's HIV prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities- Provide legal guidance for US Commercial and Corporate Affairs strategies and promotional activities
- Support regulatory compliance for biotech/pharma commercialization and educational engagements
- Deliver legal training to field and home office personnel and external consultants
- Manage multiple issues and projects across geographies with cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with Compliance, Privacy, Pricing & Access, Competition Law, Regulatory, and IP teams
- Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to diverse internal audiences
- Travel periodically for meetings and group presentations
Key requirements- Juris Doctorate from a nationally recognized law school
- 6+ years of experience providing legal counsel on drug- or device-related laws and regulations
- Active or in-house admission status with California State Bar (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Resourceful, flexible, and willing to take on varied tasks
