Overview

In this role you will translate concept into production-ready garments by developing precise technical documentation and overseeing fit across the product development process. You will work closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and external partners to uphold quality, fit, and construction while maintaining brand consistency. You will tackle fit challenges, refine prototypes, and contribute to scalable, manufacturable solutions that meet timelines and standards. This position offers hands-on impact in shaping product integrity for women's apparel within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed tech packs with sketches, measurements, grading, construction details, and specifications
  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), packaging requirements, care labels, carton markings, and related docs
  • Conduct and participate in fit sessions using live models; analyze fit and communicate revisions to vendors and teams
  • Review prototypes, fit samples, and pre-production garments with pattern makers and manufacturers to ensure standards
  • Identify construction and development challenges and propose practical, cost-conscious solutions
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Production, and external partners to ensure timely and quality product execution
  • Utilize fabrics, trims, garment construction, and manufacturing techniques to support development and execution
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining quality standards and brand consistency across products
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Fashion Design or Technical Design
  • 3-5 years of Technical Design experience in apparel
  • Experience with women's apparel; outerwear/activewear preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and CAD software
  • Strong garment construction knowledge, patternmaking, grading, and fit evaluation
  • Excellent attention to detail with accurate measurement and grading
  • Effective written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration with vendors
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
