Overview In this role you will support a growing litigation practice in Los Angeles by handling a diverse commercial caseload and advising clients through complex proceedings. You will collaborate with trial teams, conduct robust research, draft essential pleadings, and manage discovery with an emphasis on practical, business-focused advocacy. You'll contribute to high-stakes matters across federal and state courts, arbitration, and regulatory settings. Responsibilities- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery
- Navigate and manage all aspects of discovery disputes
- Conduct and manage all fact and expert discovery, including e-discovery strategy and processes
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage litigation independently or as a team and exercise excellent judgment and communication skills
Key requirements- 3-4 years of experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent client-relations skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent research, writing and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks and deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Top academic credentials and a JD from an accredited law school
- Bar admission required in an attorney's resident and/or affiliated office
