Overview As an Instructional Designer at SWBC you will create high-impact e-learning and blended learning solutions that improve performance. You'll apply adult learning principles and leverage tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Rise, and Vyond to design engaging experiences. You will collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality training aligned with organizational standards. Responsibilities- Develop and design engaging instructional materials including eLearning, ILT/VILT, and blended solutions
- Revamp existing courses to boost learner engagement through interactive design and storytelling
- Oversee administration and user management of the Absorb LMS
- Lead instructional design projects from conception to delivery
- Create learning support materials (flyers, guides, job aids) to reinforce concepts
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and refine solutions
- Update job aids for credit union officers to support products
- Utilize learning technologies to enhance design and delivery
- Stay current with instructional design trends and adult learning theories
- Ensure content consistency across training materials
- Collaborate with Training and Performance consultants to reflect market needs
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements
- Align instructional content with organizational goals and standards
Key requirements- Minimum of two years of instructional design experience developing eLearning and ILT/VILT content
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, HR, OD or related
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and eLearning tools including Articulate 360, Rise, and Vyond
- Strong e-learning development proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
- Financial services and/or GAP & MMP Product knowledge preferred
