Overview In this role you will lead fund accounting teams supporting hedge fund clients across the East Coast, driving accurate financial reporting and client service. You will oversee onboarding, waterfall modeling, and year-end audits, shaping efficient operations and strong client relationships. Responsibilities- Lead teams delivering fund administration services to clients
- Coordinate client implementations and onboarding events
- Create, maintain, and review distribution waterfall models
- Review fund governing documents and investment management agreements
- Plan and oversee audited and unaudited financial statements and related work papers
- Manage year-end audit processes with client and auditors
- Implement process improvements to optimize operations
- Participate in new client business analysis with prospects and existing clients
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 12+ years' experience in Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting
- 3+ years' experience supervising large teams
- CPA designation and/or MBA preferred
- Hands-on management style with leadership skills
- Excellent client relationship and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills
