Overview In this role you lead planning, execution and delivery of retail banking branch renovations. You will work across project teams and clients to ensure quality, schedule, and cost targets while minimizing disruption to banking operations. You'll coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulators to keep programs on track and compliant. Responsibilities- Manage multiple branch renovation and retail banking improvement projects from initiation through closeout
- Coordinate and manage stakeholders including banking clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, and regulatory authorities
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules with milestones and critical paths
- Ensure governance, standards, processes, and reporting frameworks are applied consistently
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, risk registers, and leadership updates
- Oversee branch renovations for design standards, brand requirements, security, and operations
- Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and cost controls
- Coordinate planning activities to minimize disruption to branches, customers, and staff
- Facilitate communication among internal and external teams with regular meetings and updates
- Monitor design development, permitting, procurement, construction progress, and closeout
- Manage contractor and consultant performance for quality, safety, schedule, and budget
- Review project docs, schedules, and deliverables for alignment with goals
- Lead issue resolution including RFIs, change requests, and operational challenges
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support value engineering and cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and compliance
- Ensure renovations meet building codes, accessibility, life safety, and banking security guidelines
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor throughout the project
- Identify opportunities for program improvements and expanded services within retail banking
- Support business development by nurturing client relationships and future opportunities
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience managing retail, banking, corporate interiors, renovation, or construction projects
- Experience overseeing multi-site renovation programs and fast-track delivery environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and construction administration
- Experience working in occupied facilities while maintaining business continuity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and project management software platforms
