Overview In this role you will support a global engineering environment as a Linux systems administrator, patching and upgrading Red Hat and Ubuntu-based design environments and delivering front-line user support. You will work with engineering teams to resolve issues and implement automation to improve the user experience. You will learn new technologies and operate in a customer-focused IT operations context that enables rapid hardware and software development for intelligent edge initiatives.

Responsibilities- Implement system patches, upgrades, and enhancements for cloud and on-premises design environments
- Engage with engineering users to debug, manage, and solve issues and requests
- Automate and develop using Python, scripting languages, Dev-Ops Workflows, Lamda Functions and AI/ML
- Collaborate with the engineering IT team to enhance and improve the user experience through process and automation enhancements
- Route incidents and requests in engineering ticket queues to optimize user engagement within the extended team
- Handle incidents and requests using the ticketing systems adhering to defined SLAs
- Execute assigned tasks on engineering infrastructure projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
