Overview

In this Program Manager role, you will lead execution and growth for Nominal's strategic federal engagements, coordinating government customers with internal teams to ensure aligned delivery and measurable outcomes. You'll translate customer needs into execution plans and guide deployments of Nominal's platform across mission-critical programs. The role sits at the nexus of Federal BD, operations, engineering, product, and compliance to drive customer success and account expansion. You'll operate in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment with national security implications, delivering value and strong relationships with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Own program success for strategic federal customers and ensure value delivery from Nominal's platform
  • Build trusted relationships with government stakeholders and serve as primary point of contact
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Mission Operations, Product, Engineering, BD, Legal, and Finance
  • Drive program planning, milestone tracking, and risk management to align timelines and outcomes
  • Proactively communicate progress and impact to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion with existing federal customers
  • Support technical deployments and implementations translating mission requirements into deployment plans
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in program management, technical delivery, or customer-facing roles in technology, defense, or government environments
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Ability to build trusted customer relationships while coordinating internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills with planning, milestones, and risk management
  • Excellent communication translating technical work into clear updates
  • Comfort in fast-moving environments with evolving roles and processes
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one (strongly preferred)
  • Relationship building
