Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the Building Components market strategy, including segmentation, competitive analysis, forecasting, and opportunity prioritization.
- Act as the market expert for Building Components and represent Sika to customers, associations, and key stakeholders.
- Identify growth opportunities, adjacent markets, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.
- Build business cases and market assessments to support investment decisions.
- Define and support go-to-market strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Lead Voice of Customer programs and market intelligence to identify trends and unmet needs.
- Translate insights into innovation opportunities and support commercialization with PM, R&D, and Technical Services.
- Drive execution of market growth initiatives with Business Development and Sales teams.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 15 years in market strategy, business development, commercialization, or growth leadership
- Experience in factory-built building components (windows, doors, modular/off-site construction, tanks, or related systems)
- Strong strategic, analytical, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
