Overview

As Area Property Manager, you steer day-to-day operations and lead a high-performing on-site team to keep communities market-ready and financially healthy. You partner with cross-functional teams to drive leases, renewals, service quality, and resident satisfaction, while delivering budgeting and reporting to boost occupancy and profitability. You'll shape marketing programs, mentor staff, and uphold Cushman & Wakefield's mission of excellence. This role offers impact across operations, finance, and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on-site operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits
  • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to improve satisfaction, renewals, revenue, and reputation
  • Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards
  • Track advertising effectiveness and client traffic
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing on-site team to maximize engagement and minimize turnover
  • Drive revenue through market understanding and creative marketing programs
  • Lead by example and uphold Cushman & Wakefield's mission
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure policy compliance
  • Hire, interview, and coach on-site staff to maintain effective on-site teams
  • Maintain residents' files per company standards
  • Maintain a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up
  • Manage the community budget and finances; coordinate with leasing staff to meet goals
  • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing targets
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Bachelor (degree) preferred; Real Estate License preferred
  • Effective communication
