Overview As Corporate Tax Director, you lead tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 projects within the Corporate Tax Solutions Family. You will manage engagements across multiple clients, collaborating with cross-functional specialists to deliver high-quality tax services. Your role includes business development, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client relationships to grow the firm's tax practice. You contribute to a culture of excellence, leveraging tools and training to drive meaningful client impact. This position offers leadership growth toward Partnership/Managing Director and a clear cross-border, integrated advisory path.

Responsibilities- Supervise multiple client service teams on engagements across various industries
- Plan, execute, direct, and close tax projects including planning and compliance
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Market and sell tax-planning strategies and manage to budget
- Support firm growth through external networking and revenue targets
- Participate in business development and industry events to strengthen the firm's brand
- Manage engagement fundamentals: realization, utilization, leverage, AR, expenses
- Mentor, train, and assess staff performance on tax projects
- Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex returns and ASC 740 engagements
- Research and advise on a range of tax matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and gather information to perform services
- Understand client operations and business objectives to inform engagements
- Attend professional development and training regularly
- Adhere to high professional standards and client confidentiality
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- Master's degree in taxation, LLM in Taxation or JD preferred
- Minimum five to seven years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
- CPA or JD/active law license required
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in corporate income tax and strong ASC 740 skills
- Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with US GAAP knowledge
- Strong knowledge of state/local taxes, international taxation, and transfer pricing
- Exceptional client service, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience in OneSource Tax Provision preferred
- Strong teamwork and analytical skills with attention to detail
