Overview In this role you will lead Panduit's Corporate Accounting team to strengthen close processes, grow the shared-services capability, and standardize accounting practices across global stakeholders. You will drive timely, accurate closes and maintain strong internal controls within U.S. GAAP. Your leadership will shape a high-performing, cross-functional team partnering with Finance, HR, Legal, and regional teams. Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Corporate Accounting team and intercompany GL function within the SOC
- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, variances, and issue resolution
- Review and sign off on work from senior accountants, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
- Own complex GL areas (employee-related accruals, program accruals, etc.) requiring judgment
- Oversee intercompany GL accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and global coordination
- Monitor close progress, communicate risks and accounting judgments to finance stakeholders
- Develop a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and delegation
- Serve as primary accounting partner to Finance, Payroll, HR, Legal, and regional teams
- Strengthen controls and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and policies
- Lead end-to-end accounting process documentation, SOPs, control docs, and close calendars
- Champion Oracle Fusion, FCCS, ARCS, Smart View, Excel, automation, and AI tools
- Coordinate internal and external audit support and timely responses
- Support accounting transformation, system enhancements, testing, and change management
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting; CPA required
- 5-7 years in accounting with 2-4 years in people management; public accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, GL accounting, reconciliations, accruals, internal controls, and audit support
- Experience leading distributed/shared-services teams
- Intercompany accounting experience in multi-entity or global environments preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience preferred
- Experience with FCCS, ARCS, Smart View, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL; ERP implementation experience a plus
- Strong accounting judgment, communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance hands-on review with leadership and cross-functional influence
- Automation, AI, and data-driven analysis experience a plus
