Overview

In this Senior Architect role you will lead the delivery of medium to large healthcare projects and guide cross-functional teams. You'll collaborate with leadership to shape schedules, deliverables, and QA/QC processes. You'll present to clients and coordinate with consultants to ensure design excellence. You'll mentor staff and promote a collaborative, people-first culture while advancing sustainable design. Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of medium to large healthcare projects
  • Direct consultant and technical teams to ensure successful execution of design and deliverables
  • Work with Project Executive and Project Manager to create and oversee production timelines
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate deliverables, managing production staff and consultants
  • Supervise code analysis and verify zoning requirements
  • Facilitate design discussions and lead client and consultant work sessions
  • Develop and present client presentations
  • Conduct product research and assist in selecting materials and systems
  • Attend site visits, field reviews, and project meetings; document information
  • Review submittals and lead field observations and agency reviews
  • Support staff development through mentorship and promote a positive team atmosphere
  • Advocate for design excellence with sustainable practices
Key requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of job-related experience, healthcare experience preferred
  • Architecture license
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with Rhino, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape or similar rendering tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Solid knowledge of architectural systems, accessibility guidelines, building codes, and QA/QC
  • Strong presentation, time management, and organizational abilities
