Overview In this HR Business Partner role, you will guide the interpretation and application of HR policies across SEARHC's region, aligning practices with the organization's mission. You'll partner with leaders to ensure compliance, support employee relations, and drive performance and development initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to foster engagement and retention, while advancing continuous HR improvements in a healthcare nonprofit. Responsibilities- Provide proactive leadership on policy interpretation to ensure consistent practice across the Consortium
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws by collaborating with HR staff and department leadership
- Offer HR guidance to leadership on departmental and organizational issues
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations for employee relations matters
- Lead and support management in performance management, development, and corrective action
- Foster positive relationships and enhance employee engagement and retention
- Ensure fair application of HR policies for all staff
- Partner with Learning & Development to facilitate training and onboarding activities
- Assess HR-related needs and propose process improvements
- Collaborate as part of the HR team to support strategic initiatives
- Perform other related duties as required
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Sociology, or related field
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare
- PHR or equivalent certification preferred within 3 years of hire
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
- Adaptable, collaborative, and flexible leadership style
- Organized and self-motivated with direct, open communication
- Knowledge of core HR functions: employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration
- Understanding of HR laws and HR administration practices
- Ability to interpret policies and guide departments
