Overview In this role you drive the full joint targeting cycle to support USCYBERCOM J2 at Fort Meade. You will develop target strategies, produce ETFs and TSA materials, and assess battle damage to inform decision-making. You'll train and mentor professionals while shaping targeting policy and coordinating across commands and the IC. This position offers high-impact work at the intersection of policy, operations, and analysis in a mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the full joint targeting cycle-from target system analysis to combat assessment.
- Produce high-quality joint target intelligence materials such as TSA, ETFs, target graphics, and BDA.
- Support dynamic targeting for USCYBERCOM staffs and Joint Task Forces.
- Coordinate targeting efforts across components, other COCOMs, Joint Staff, and IC.
- Develop training materials and conduct on-the-job training for civilians, military, and contractors.
- Advise on joint target intelligence policy changes to USCYBERCOM staff.
- Attend and contribute as SME in operational, planning, and targeting meetings and boards.
- Maintain OPC/analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203, 206, 208, 209) and author operating instructions for programs
Key requirements- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- 12 years w/o degree / 10 years with AS/AA / 8 years with BS/BA / 6 years with MS/MA / 3 years with PhD
- Working knowledge of joint targeting processes and IC/DoD classification guidelines
- Ability to produce timely, concise analytic reports and target materials in MS Office
- Proficiency with structured analytic techniques to synthesize sources
- Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations across all-source platforms
