Responsibilities- Oversee property tax compliance, filings, and appeals for assigned accounts
- Lead and mentor the property tax team; provide performance feedback
- Manage client communications, hearings, settlements, and negotiations
- Evaluate valuations and assessment appeals; recommend outcomes
- Monitor contracts, scope of services, and fees; manage receivables
- Drive business development and cross-selling; maintain existing clients
- Engage in professional activities and speaking/writing to build eminence
- Ensure adherence to firm policies and guidelines; supervise staff and distribute workload
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and revenue growth
- Participate in client status calls and presentations; keep clients informed of progress
Key requirements- Seven years of property tax experience
- Strong leadership and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Proficiency in researching tax issues and performing detailed calculations
- Valuation techniques and compliance process knowledge
- Intermediate MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Valid driver's license; professional designations such as CMI or CCIM preferred
- Experience with client billing and collections
- Team mentorship and performance management skills
- Bachelor-level or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, or related field
