Overview

In this role you will serve as a key HR partner, focusing on compliance and employee relations across Silvus operations. You will work with leadership to interpret employment laws, policies, and procedures, guiding actions on employee relations and policy interpretation. The position supports onboarding, offboarding, data integrity of personnel records, and the design of training programs to ensure compliant practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to advance HR initiatives and maintain regulatory alignment. This is a hands-on role at a fast-paced, safety-focused organization with opportunities to influence people processes and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Act as primary HRBP contact, interpreting policy and law to guide decisions
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding for consistent employee experience
  • Maintain personnel records ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Design and deliver training on timekeeping, policy interpretation, and related topics
  • Provide HR guidance to division heads and partners
  • Advise on leaves, workers' compensation, attendance, and employee relations while ensuring compliance
  • Conduct workplace investigations related to business partner divisions
  • Partner to design and implement performance management and engagement programs
  • Stay updated on HR laws/regulations and analyze HR metrics
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures with independent judgment
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and supervisors
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in related field with 5 years HR experience, preferably in a business partner role
  • Excellent written and oral communication, professional presentation
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, initiative
  • Independent problem-solving with critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with sound judgment
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • U.S. Person status due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
  • Background check and drug test clearance
