Overview

In this role you will lead the issuance and content of project deliverables, coordinating multiple disciplines and supervising staff producing documentation. You collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Architect to implement Construction Phase Services and ensure QA reviews and comment incorporation. You guide the detailed documentation to reflect the design intent from concept through construction administration, while establishing BIM workflows and standards. You mentor team members, drive technical excellence, and support sustainable design integration to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the design intent is reflected in detailed documentation
  • Coordinate design through conceptual to construction administration
  • Provide technical resolution and coordination for project portions
  • Conduct product research and assist in writing specifications
  • Oversee QA/QC, review reports and calculations for accuracy
  • Set up document organization and BIM data structure; define sheets and standards
  • Lead and mentor staff; supervise preparation of drawings by junior team
  • Foster collaboration with Project Leadership Team and consultants
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, vendors; prepare meeting minutes and coordination communications
  • Attend site visits, coordinate approvals, and track shop drawings and schedules
  • Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects
  • Support business development activities when needed
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design
  • 15+ years of experience preferred
  • LEED credential required within 12 months of employment
  • Experience in BIM, coordination across disciplines, and QA/QC
  • Ability to manage staff and lead project teams
