Overview In this role you will lead consumer experience learning and product research for assigned brands in the North American zone, shaping insights that guide product and packaging decisions. You will define research needs, design fit-for-purpose studies, and translate learnings into decision-ready recommendations. You'll collaborate across R&D, Marketing, and external partners to ensure consumer insights drive development from ideation to launch readiness. Responsibilities- Provide CX leadership for the assigned portfolio/projects
- Lead day-to-day CX learning plan execution aligned to milestones (prototyping, qualification, launch readiness)
- Ensure projects exit development stages with clear CX direction and documentation
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research on product and package experience
- Identify actionable recommendations from CX research and synthesize findings across data sources
- Translate consumer needs into clear product/packaging targets and requirements for development
- Deliver decision-ready recommendations and drive cross-functional alignment
- Manage external research suppliers (scoping, timelines, budgets, fieldwork, quality)
- Lead multiple projects with prioritization, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with data integrity and privacy requirements
- May provide informal mentorship to junior team members
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years (BS) or 3+ years (MS) in consumer/product research or consumer experience roles (CPG preferred)
- Ability to translate consumer learning into actionable direction for product/packaging decisions
- Qualitative and quantitative research capabilities (design, development, synthesis, storytelling)
- Familiarity with common research, survey/testing, and analysis platforms
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in a matrixed environment
- Strong project management: prioritization, ambiguity handling, attention to detail, on-time delivery
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to work independently and with others
- Analytical problem-solving with high attention to detail
