Overview As ISL, Healthcare / Life Sciences - Laboratory, you will own the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for lab operations. You will act as the primary customer-facing solution leader, translating lab workflows into scalable AI and optimization programs. You'll guide cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value from problem definition to production, focusing on turnaround time, capacity, quality, and workflow optimization. This role offers impact shaping AI-driven transformations across high-volume diagnostics in a global enterprise. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to drive deployment at scale and customer success.

Responsibilities- Own solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned engagements, from problem definition through deployment and scale
- Serve as the primary customer-facing domain expert, mapping customer processes, constraints, and objectives
- Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities across planning, inventory, production, logistics, pricing, procurement, and service levels
- Translate operational challenges into AI/ML/optimization problems with clear decision variables and success criteria
- Lead engagements through use case definition, requirements, architecture, configuration, validation, deployment, adoption, and scale
- Apply domain expertise to challenge assumptions and ensure solutions reflect operational realities
- Direct cross-functional teams (Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, PMs, engineers, industry experts) toward aligned outcomes
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to validate requirements, workflows, and business impact
- Guide the interpretation and use of supply chain data (demand, orders, inventory, capacity, BOM, etc.)
- Maintain accountability for solution quality, value, risks, progress, adoption, and executive communication
- Partner with product management and engineering to identify reusable capabilities and scale solutions
- Support sales during opportunity assessment and define problems, value, requirements, deployment strategy, and demos
- Develop repeatable supply chain methodologies, patterns, and best practices; represent C3 AI in forums
Key requirements- 7+ years in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, operations research, or related consulting
- Deep experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, production planning, manufacturing scheduling, pricing, procurement, logistics, or network optimization
- Experience in complex manufacturing or supply chain environments (e.g., high-tech, semiconductor, automotive, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc.)
- Strong understanding of planning concepts: service levels, safety stock, lead times, capacity, BOMs, and inventory policies
- Proven ability to solve complex supply chain problems and improve key metrics
- Experience with enterprise data from ERP/MRP/WMS/TMS/Procurement/Manufacturing, etc.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 or similar systems
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to reason with tradeoffs and optimization objectives
- Track record leading customer-facing technical engagements with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into technical solutions; effective with software engineers, data scientists, PMs, and customer teams
