Overview In this role, you engage healthcare professionals and researchers to share scientific data on Eisai's products and disease areas, aligning field insights with the medical affairs strategy. You lead knowledge transfer, foster KOL relationships, and mentor junior MSLs while contributing to strategic planning and special projects. This field-based position supports Eisai's human health care mission and involves collaboration across cross-functional teams to advance research ideas and product understanding.

Responsibilities- Serve as primary clinical/scientific resource for HCPs in the territory on disease state and Eisai products
- Facilitate accurate scientific information exchange between KOLs/investigators and Medical Affairs/Development teams
- Establish and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in relevant therapeutic areas
- Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to population-based decision-makers
- Support and lead congress coverage per MSL plan
- Identify and report scientific insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs
- Develop and present management plans to support Medical Affairs strategic direction
- Lead IIS review/follow-up and act as primary contact for IIS investigators
- Lead field medical efforts with professional organizations/societies
- Teach, coach, and mentor junior MSLs; participate in special projects
- Facilitate IIS reviews and site selection recommendations for company-sponsored trials
- Represent Eisai in communicating the company and its hhc mission to external stakeholders
- Provide scientific/clinical information on Eisai products to internal teams and external researchers
Key requirements- Advanced terminal Doctorate level degree in medical or health sciences (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD, DPH, EdD)
- For MSL: 0-3 years pharma/biotech or clinical setting experience; for Sr. MSL: minimum 3 years MSL experience in Oncology/Hematology
- Strong scientific/pharmaceutical knowledge; clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines
- Established relationships with KOLs; ability to communicate across multiple disease states
- Willingness to travel broadly (approximately 60%); valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently, lead cross-functional projects, and mentor others
