Overview As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will manage a large, complex book of business to ensure client satisfaction and retention. You will work closely with the Sales team to align on renewal strategies and risk management, delivering timely, accurate service and technical guidance. You drive coverage reviews, risk assessments, and carrier submissions to secure optimal insured solutions. You will lead projects, mentor teammates, and uphold data integrity within the agency system while supporting cross-functional collaboration. This role offers impact through proactive risk management, client partnerships, and a client-centric service mindset.
Responsibilities- Independently manage client relationships and deliver superior service
- Coordinate with Sales Executive on renewal strategy and risk management
- Perform coverage reviews, identify gaps, and advise on risk management
- Prepare submissions and proposals for carriers; conduct in-person client visits as needed
- Review contracts for insurance requirements and issue non-standard certificates
- Maintain data integrity in the agency management system and manage workload
- Coordinate loss control activities and arrange claim reviews with carriers
- Lead/perform special projects and coach teammates
- Support risk management and regulatory compliance across activities
Key requirements- Experience in commercial lines coverage and underwriting; technical knowledge of coverage forms and risk alternatives
- Property and Casualty Insurance License in PA; insurance designation preferred
- 7+ years of job-related experience
- Excellent project management, communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
