Overview In this role you drive end-to-end management of technology contract initiatives within Deloitte Tax's Transformation Office. You will negotiate, draft and review software and technology-related agreements, guiding risk and compliance alignment with Legal and security teams. You'll coordinate across senior stakeholders to advance high-impact tech projects that improve efficiency and growth. Responsibilities- Analyze, draft, and revise software licenses and technology/third-party agreements, including commercial terms
- Negotiate terms and support contract review and risk mitigation processes
- Advise practitioners and risk managers on contract and risk issues
- Liaise with Office of General Counsel, Privacy, Cyber Security, Information Security, and risk functions to ensure policy alignment
- Draft documents and correspondence for vendor and technology agreements
- Perform contract management tasks: summarize, redline, organize reference materials and databases
- Apply knowledge of generative AI tools to evaluate and onboard AI-related vendors
Key requirements- 3+ years of legal experience drafting, reviewing, and revising technology agreements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience drafting, redlining, and proofreading contract documents in a legal or contract management setting
- Ability to analyze commercial and contractual issues and apply policies and risk considerations
- Ability to travel up to 10% on average
- Active accreditations: CPA (or eligible), or Licensed Attorney, or Enrolled Agent
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Self-starter with good judgment and independent work style
- Collaborative relationship-building across legal, risk, cyber, privacy, and business teams
- Experience with technology, software licensing, SaaS, content licensing, and professional services agreements
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and AI vendor onboarding
- Drafting, redlining, and contract review in tech/third-party contexts
