Overview In this role you represent individuals harmed in accidents, guiding a full caseload from intake to resolution. You negotiate settlements and, when needed, advocate in court to secure fair compensation for losses like medical costs and lost wages. You work with clients, paralegals, and experts to develop strong case strategies and contribute to firm growth through referrals and community outreach.

Responsibilities- Handle all phases of personal injury cases from intake to trial preparation
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, letters, and settlement agreements
- Conduct factual/legal research and develop case strategies
- Represent clients in settlements, mediations, and court proceedings
- Manage deadlines, case files, and billing, coordinating with paralegals and experts
- Prepare for and conduct depositions and present evidence at trial as needed
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to clients and manage expectations
- Collaborate with partners and associates to grow the firm through referrals and outreach
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in good standing
- Proven experience handling personal injury matters; knowledge of tort law, negligence, damages, and insurance claims
- Demonstrated litigation experience including motion practice, depositions, and courtroom advocacy (nice to have: Litigation)
- Experience in a law firm environment (nice to have: Associate)
- Familiarity with accident investigation, medical records review, and working with accident reconstruction experts (nice to have: Accident)
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and client counseling skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
