Overview In this role, you will manage commercial litigation matters from development through resolution within a dynamic Detroit legal team. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to shape strategy, assess risk, and advocate for clients at all stages of litigation. Your responsibilities include depositions, motion practice, discovery management, and appearing in court to advance case objectives. Responsibilities- Handle commercial litigation matters from initial assessment to resolution
- Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and develop testimony strategies
- Draft, review, and argue motions, briefs, and other filings with persuasive analysis
- Manage discovery, including drafting requests, evaluating responses, and addressing disputes
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and proceedings while advocating for clients
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategy, assess risk, and propose practical legal solutions
