Overview In this role you lead payroll operations across Mexico and Central America, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery while upholding compliance. You will build and coach a high-performing payroll team and collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and regional teams. You drive operational excellence through standardization, automation, and process improvements, enhancing the employee payroll experience. Responsibilities- Lead payroll delivery across Mexico and Central America ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, social security, and payroll regulations with strong controls and audit readiness
- Coach and develop Payroll Specialists and Administrators to form a high-performing team
- Act as escalation point for complex payroll issues and guide policies and processes
- Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and system enhancements
- Build strong relationships with HR, Compensation & Benefits, Finance, IT, external vendors, and regional leaders
- Monitor payroll reporting, metrics, resource planning, and service performance to support business continuity
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience leading payroll operations in multinational/multi-country settings
- Knowledge of payroll processing, payroll controls, tax regulations, social security, labor compliance, payroll systems, and advanced Excel
- Proven leadership, stakeholder influence, complex problem solving, prioritization, and driving improvement in fast-paced environments
