Overview

In this Senior Manager, Legal Operations role, you drive operational excellence across Adobe's Legal & Government Relations function. You'll lead outside counsel and vendor governance, financial planning, and data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions. The role blends people leadership with AI-enabled modernization to elevate the legal function at scale. You will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and cross-functionally to deliver measurable business impact. This is a high-visibility position focused on transforming efficiency, spend management, and strategic operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage external counsel and legal vendor programs, including governance, performance, billing, and cost efficiency
  • Own LGR financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, accruals, spend reporting, and controls
  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to improve cost efficiency and financial planning
  • Build operational metrics, dashboards, and executive insights to promote data-driven decisions
  • Provide operational and financial insights to support long-term planning and leadership decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making through innovative practices and new technologies
  • Support transformation initiatives by providing operational context, data governance, and value measurement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with clear priorities and operating rhythms
Key requirements
  • Significant experience in Legal Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Consulting, or related field
  • Proven track record leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Deep expertise managing outside counsel programs, legal spend, vendor relationships, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to translate data into executive insights
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a dynamic environment
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Track record of driving innovation and challenging the status quo with measurable impact
