Overview In this Controller role, you will lead the finance function to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will partner with department leaders to drive continuous improvement and fiscal discipline aligned with Magna's standards. The position supports budgeting, forecasting, and audit readiness while safeguarding company assets. Responsibilities- Oversee all finance functions and support department leadership
- Maintain general ledger integrity and internal controls
- Ensure SOX adherence and audit readiness
- Lead month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting; analyze variances
- Manage cost tracking, inventory costing, and asset capitalization
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors and prepare working papers
- Develop and monitor the annual budget, 7-year plan, and monthly forecasts
- Lead and develop the Finance team, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure timely payroll processing and benefits administration
- Support tool revenue/expense/profit recognition and cost management
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to meet departmental goals and deadlines
Key requirements- CPA
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience
