Overview As a Surface Warfare Analyst, you will apply deep naval warfare expertise to advise on surface ship readiness and integrated shipboard systems. You will partner with Navy leaders to analyze problems, develop solutions, and drive improvements across maintenance, training, and C5I domains. This role offers impact through shaping doctrine, policies, and training to support deployment success and mission readiness. You will work within a cross-functional team to deliver actionable briefings and papers at multiple levels of leadership. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence surface warfare at scale.

Responsibilities- analyze problems and develop solutions to improve surface warfare readiness
- contribute to integration of shipboard systems and command and control
- advise on maintenance, modernization, and installation management
- support Navy training systems and personnel readiness
- develop and present briefings, issue papers, and documents from tactical to strategic levels
- collaborate with Navy leaders and cross-functional teams to prepare surface forces for deployment
Key requirements- 15+ years of experience in surface warfare including as Surface Commanding Officer afloat or ashore
- 2+ years on a major Echelon III or above staff or Joint/Combatant Command military staff
- Knowledge of Surface Navy readiness policy and systems
- Ability to develop, produce, and present briefings and documents at General/Flag Officer level
- Ability to travel to CONUS locations up to 25%
