Overview In this role you will coordinate field activities for building new homes to Century Complete standards. You will oversee scheduling, safety, quality, erosion control, and customer satisfaction, while guiding vendors and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. You'll work cross-functionally to resolve field issues and keep projects moving toward closing. This position offers meaningful impact in delivering affordable, quality homes and maintaining safety and compliance across multiple neighborhoods.
Responsibilities- Maintain and coordinate construction schedules for homes across multiple neighborhoods to meet goals
- Engage with customers through orientations and maintain customer satisfaction as a priority
- Process paperwork for homes under construction (utilities, pre-lot inspections, quality checklists)
- Coach vendors and report performance to Century Complete Support when obligations are unmet
- Perform daily inspections to uphold Quality Standards
- Monitor Job Site safety with regular site inspections
- Establish and maintain erosion and sediment control standards on each site
- Complete biweekly payment authorizations for all vendors
- Reduce unnecessary variance expenses and communicate design/plan issues for review
- Recruit new vendors and conduct punch work to meet closing deadlines
Key requirements- 3+ years of Construction Management experience in residential or multi-family high-production environments
- OSHA 10/30 Construction qualification within 90 days of hire
- Technical construction ability to manage resources and diagnose field problems
- People skills to handle conflict with customers, inspectors, and contractors
- Ability to train trade contractors on construction techniques and problem resolution
