Overview In this role you support reserving analysis to inform financial performance and strategic decisions. You work with a collaborative team across the business to apply standard and advanced reserving methods, including ML techniques, and to prepare key reporting such as quarterly reserves and year-end valuations. You will translate data into insights, identify efficiency opportunities, and help maintain monitoring for internal and external reporting. This role offers cross-disciplinary exposure and opportunities to grow technical capabilities in a dynamic insurance environment.

Responsibilities- Analyze claim reserve adequacy using standard methods and advanced models, including Python-based ML techniques
- Support Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reporting
- Maintain monitoring reports for internal and external reporting
- Provide insights on financial performance from a reserving perspective
- Collaborate with teams to understand reserving impact on portfolio performance
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency
Key requirements- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Actively pursuing actuarial exams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage independent deliverables
- Clear communication and cross-team relationship-building
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Excel and VBA
