Overview As Technical Editor, you shape training content for a government-focused engagement, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with audience needs. You'll collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to deliver polished materials for ARPC/HQ RIO programs. Your work supports training content development and quality control across multiple media. Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain training modules for diverse audiences with the creative team
- Edit and proofread training materials (animations, quizzes, slides, scenario-based videos) for accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic artists, and SMEs to integrate visuals and text
- Review and adapt existing content to meet different audience needs
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual guidelines
- Maintain an organized repository of edited/approved documents for audit reference
- Participate in team meetings to provide editorial insights and improve outcomes
Key requirements- Strong editing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
- Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and style
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and consistency
- Familiarity with project management processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor in English
- Proven experience in technical editing or content development
- Familiarity with training content development and instructional design is a plus
- Experience with government or military contracts is advantageous
