Accounting Manager - Equipment & Logistics

Overview

In this role you will lead day-to-day accounting operations for 02S Equipment and Logistics, driving accurate close processes and reliable financial reporting. You will partner with finance leadership, operations, and regional teams to maintain data integrity and robust internal controls. You will identify process improvements, oversee reconciliations, and support budget and projections with timely information. This position offers impact by ensuring costing and profit reporting are reliable across product lines and regions, under GAAP and company policies. Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and reconciliations
  • Maintain close calendars, SOPs, and checklists to ensure timely accounting routines
  • Ensure billing, inter-project charges, cost allocations, AP/AR, inventory/asset accounting, and month-end close are accurate and on time
  • Maintain CMiC structures and data quality for costing methodologies and regional reporting
  • Manage accounting structures in CMiC and equipment costing, including setup of departments, jobs, sub-jobs, and cost coding
  • Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and Internal Controls to ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness
  • Manage and develop accounting staff and provide guidance on priorities and processes
  • Serve as a main point of contact for accounting and finance questions from teams and partners
  • Identify process issues, reduce errors, improve controls, and support rollout of tools or new processes
  • Track, monitor and allocate national supplier rebates
  • Assist in internal financial reporting and quarterly profit projections
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in construction or equipment rental industry preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting applications
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and/or AI enablement preferred
  • Experience supervising staff or leading accounting processes in a fast-moving environment
