Overview In this role you advance autonomous vehicle research by designing and implementing cutting-edge autonomy techniques. You will publish your results, present at venues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer findings into production systems. The position sits within NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicle Research group, focusing on core and applied research with real-world impact. You will contribute to open-source code and explore scalable, safe AV solutions at scale, shaping the field and products.

Key requirements- Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of relevant research in vehicle/robot autonomy
- Strong knowledge of vehicle/robot autonomy theory and practice
- Proven track record of research excellence with publications and artifacts
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional programming skills in Python; C++ and CUDA
- Strong experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, research-focused team
