Construction Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage designated construction and renovation projects on client sites, coordinating with facility teams and client representatives to ensure projects align with contracts and client needs. You will oversee budgets, timelines, and reporting across project phases, while guiding consultants and construction teams. You'll work with account managers and building teams to uphold quality, safety, and compliance, driving project success and client satisfaction. This position offers a chance to shape tenant improvements and contribute to client outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each project phase
  • Coordinate project reports and drawings across conceptual to construction phases
  • Assist in selection, contracting, and oversight of consultants and construction teams
  • Review requisitions, change orders and invoices; discuss costs with client and property management
  • Support marketing of services to clients as requested
  • Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with building/facility personnel to meet goals in quality, service, cost and profit
  • Escalate major problems and provide recommendations to management
  • Advise on organizational changes and expenditures beyond approved budgets with approvals
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including building codes and safety standards
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and continually update field knowledge
Key requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in project management, especially leading, motivating, and developing employees
  • Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects preferred
