Overview As a Specialty Product Manager, you will shape Management Liability offerings (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Cyber, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom) for Commercial Lines. You'll own product strategy, development, and lifecycle across admitted and non-admitted markets, collaborating with underwriting, claims, legal, and tech to drive profitable growth. Your work translates market insights into competitive forms, filings, and go-to-market approaches. This role offers remote or hybrid flexibility and a chance to influence strategy, compliance, and customer outcomes at Hanover. Responsibilities- Lead development, design, and maintenance of Management Liability coverage forms and rules for admitted and non-admitted use
- Draft new forms and revise existing ones to meet underwriting needs in a dynamic legal environment
- Monitor regulatory and judicial changes to ensure compliant writing across states
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
- Collaborate with Specialty Underwriting to set lines' goals and strategy
- Develop filing strategies and respond to state Department of Insurance objections
- Mentor and collaborate with Product Analysts
Key requirements- 3-5 years in specialty insurance with relevant product experience or equivalent
- Solid understanding of specialty insurance products, policy wording, forms drafting, coverages, and regulation
- Strong leadership, initiative, organization, and time management
- Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail
- Ability to articulate product and underwriting strategies and their inter-relationships
