Overview In this role you oversee profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting to inform management decisions. You will analyze operating results, identify profitability drivers, and advise on revenue, margin, expenses, and working capital. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to reflect trends and initiatives in forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan. The position sits at the intersection of finance, operations and strategy, offering impact on profitability and planning. Responsibilities- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
- Determine the key drivers of variances versus last year results
- Identify underperforming customers and vendors and the key drivers of profitability
- Advise management on profitability improvements and support for financial reporting of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Analyze key drivers of expenses and variances to plan and prior year
- Ensure forecast reflects overall trends and impacts of key initiatives
- Collaborate on producing accurate financial reporting for planning and control
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics
- At least 5 years financial analyst and/or accounting experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills and knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of financial reporting software
- Experience with annual AOP process and performance management of finance associates
