Overview

In this Senior Lead Architect role within JPMorganChase's Corporate Sector (Trade Surveillance), you shape target-state architecture across product families and platforms. You will drive significant business impact by guiding technology choices, governance, and secure delivery of high-quality software. You'll leverage AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate analysis and ensure data sensitivity and auditability. This is a chance to influence design and operations at scale while working with cross-functional teams in a mission-driven financial services setting.

Responsibilities
  • Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to governance practices
  • Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors
  • Leverage enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate architecture analysis with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity awareness
  • Evaluate current and new technologies using standards/frameworks and advocate leading-edge solutions
  • Drive decisions influencing product design, functionality, and technical operations
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code
  • Serve as a function-wide SME and promote firmwide SDLC frameworks and practices
  • Establish reuse-first, AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain, ensuring traceability, resiliency and security controls
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on architecture concepts
  • 5+ years of applied experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced in one or more programming languages with deep expertise in software architecture
  • Experience applying AI capabilities within architecture/engineering workflows with validation and data-sensitivity awareness
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with resiliency, security, and auditability
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight and evaluate emerging technologies for future-state architecture
