Overview In this role you will identify and prioritize prospects, and develop strategies to secure gifts that meet fundraising goals. You will work with multiple departments to design programs and events that engage major donors and support university priorities. You will document all donor interactions, manage budgets and revenue projections for annual and campaign giving, and ensure ongoing stewardship and timely acknowledgement of gifts. You will advise leadership on donor identification and involvement, while maintaining internal controls and compliance. This is a mission-driven role that combines relationship-building with program development to sustain fundraising initiatives.
Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize donor prospects; develop strategies to secure gifts and achieve fundraising goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to create programs and events for major donor engagement.
- Build and adapt fundraising programs toward long-term sustainability.
- Document all donor contacts, communications, visits, and proposals in donor files.
- Develop fundraising budgets and revenue projections for annual and campaign giving.
- Maintain regular donor communications and stewardship, including re-solicitations and gift acknowledgements.
- Determine fundable projects and package them for donor consideration.
- Advise leadership and faculty on roles in donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation.
- Establish and monitor internal controls; ensure compliance with University policies; train staff on controls.
