Overview As a CRE Analyst, you join a leading national underwriting team to analyze loan requests and assess credit risk. You'll work within a fast-paced, collaborative program that combines formal training, mentorship, and peer support to build credit and real estate knowledge. You will underwrite opportunities, monitor portfolios, and interpret financial results to guide credit decisions. Responsibilities- Underwrite new business opportunities, including project, market, sponsor analysis, loan structuring, and risk evaluation
- Monitor existing loans: covenant tracking, financial statement analysis, risk factors assessment
- Measure and test financial covenants as per credit approvals
- Input monitoring requirements and covenants into compliance systems
- Prepare reports on financial performance and trends for Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers
- Interact with clients as appropriate; participate in meetings/calls
- Develop technical/business acumen through training and mentorship
- Leverage AI-enabled tools (Microsoft Copilot) for analysis and portfolio monitoring while maintaining risk discipline
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in progress with expected completion December 2026 or Spring 2027
- Basic understanding of financial/accounting concepts
- Ability to start development program July 12, 2027
